From August 29 to October 9, the Forum d’architectures Lausanne (F’AR) will be exhibiting a selection of facsimile drawings and sketches of João Batista Vilanova Artigas, and those of his collaborators. Artigas was a major figure in the twentieth century Brazilian architectural scene, architect and founder of the School of Architecture of São Paulo (FAU), and celebrated as a leader of the Brazilian « Paulista » modernist movement that also included Lina Bo Bardi and Paulo Mendes da Rocha.
